State officials are recognizing March as Problem Gambling Awareness Month.
A variety of state departments are teaming up to increase the public’s understanding of gambling disorders.
It comes at a time when the state is setting records for the amount of gambling happening by residents. Pennsylvania set a new record last year, bringing in over $6 billion in revenue from gambling.
The increase is also being driven by participation in online gaming.
