Governor Josh Shapiro has ordered all flags to be flown at half-staff tomorrow in honor of the Reverend Jesse Jackson.
Shapiro says the order is for all United States and Commonwealth flags that are at state facilities, public buildings and grounds.
This tribute coincides with the last day of memorial services scheduled for Reverend Jackson who passed away last month.
During a visit to Harrisburg in October of 2024, Jackson was recognized by the General Assembly for founding the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, which advocates for civil rights, economic equality, voting rights, and social justice.
