Butler Township Police have released more information on a crash that sent one person to the hospital over the weekend.
On Sunday, just before 5 p.m. police were called to New Castle Road at the Butler Crossing for a three-vehicle accident.
According to police, a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Zane Parker of Butler was in the westbound left turning lane. That’s when a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Allan Roczko of Butler attempted to take a left turn into the Butler Commons Plaza from the eastbound lane. Roczko did not yield and then hit Parker. After Parker was hit, his vehicle had a mechanical failure and he unable to stop and hit an parked car.
Roczko suffered minor injuries and was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital while Parker denied medical treatment on the scene.
