A Butler man that previously had charges dropped for holding a woman captive in a Butler City home is now facing new charges of intimidating a witness.
In February police charged 32-year-old Terrence Fields Jr. for holding a woman and her children hostage at a home on the 100 block of Wicks Street.
He was initially charged with multiple crimes, but had those dismissed.
But, days after the original incident, Fields was heard on a jail phone telling the victim to not show up to the preliminary hearing.
After the preliminary hearing on February 23rd Fields bail was reduced and was posted.
New charges were filed yesterday and Fields is now awaiting a preliminary hearing for the charge of intimidating a witness or victim to withhold testimony.
