There’s been a big spike in gas prices over the past 24 hours.
As oil prices jumped yesterday, so did the price at the pump.
AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Butler is now $4.29.
Heading into Monday, the average price was $4.08.
Oil surged yesterday as concerns continued over the negotiations with Iran and the ongoing conflict in the Persian Gulf.
AAA did note that gasoline demand decreased yesterday.
