The Federal Emergency Management Agency has announced over $800,000 will be given to the Commonwealth.
The funding is part of $137 million announced for 50 projects nationwide.
In Pennsylvania, a total of $837,780 was awarded for state management costs including technical assistance and the efficient administration of funding awards across the commonwealth.
The awards are distributed through FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation grant program.
