Residents who visit the Butler City Farmers Market will soon be able to enjoy an additional amenity.
According to Butler City Mayor Bob Dandoy, the delivery and installation of the new restroom at the Farmers Market facility off Chestnut Street will take place on Thursday, May 28th.
The infrastructure to accommodate the pre-constructed structure is already in place and users will be able to use a code to enter during times which events are going on at the facility.
This restroom is part of the contract approved last year by council with Troy J. Construction in the amount of nearly $744,000 for the Farmers Market Improvements Project which includes roof repair, electrical improvements, paving, and landscaping. About a third of that total is from grant funding with the remainder from the City’s long-range plan.
