A stormwater project is set to begin soon in Slippery Rock Borough.
Butler County recently approved a change order for a stormwater repair project that will begin at some point this summer.
A majority of the $107,000 project will be covered by CDBG funding.
County officials are hopeful the project will help with flood mitigation, which comes after the severe flooding the borough dealt with last weekend.
Officials say part of the issue is undersized infrastructure that can’t handle the heavy rain.
