An annual event to help train and educate firefighters continues today in Cranberry.
It’s the fourth annual Jimmy Ellis Training Weekend, which is a four-day event that brings firefighters together from all over the state.
Today will focus on guest speakers and lectures, while Saturday and Sunday will have classes and trainings spread all throughout the county.
The weekend is named after Jimmy Ellis, who was a longtime Pittsburgh firefighter who served as vice president of the Adams Area Fire District.
