The man accused of killing two people in a DUI crash earlier this week, wife and two children died in a home fire earlier this year.
On Wednesday along Route 173 around 8 a.m., 47-year-old Aric Abrams of Clark Mills is accused of driving under the influence in a crash that killed 68-year-old Sandra Marwick of Sandy Lake and 29-year-old Luke Mulford of Butler.
Marwick was a teacher in the AC-Valley School District.
Abrams was taken into custody and is facing charges of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.
Over three months before the crash, in April, Abrams wife 48-year-old Malinda Abrams and his two children 16-year-old Amelia Abrams and 12-year-old Leroy Abrams were found dead in a Stoneboro home fire.
At the time of the fire officials did not believe that foul play was involved in the deaths but was being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal.
