Ellis P. Zang, Jr., 78, of Fenelton, PA, passed away on August 30, 2026.
He was born on June 2, 1948, to the late Ellis P. Zang and Mary (Katzko) Zang.
He graduated from Butler High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked for the United States Postal Service until his retirement.
Ellis enjoyed the great outdoors and found joy in hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening.
He is survived by two sons, James (Stacie) Zang and Allen (Stacy) Zang; grandchildren, Mia, Collyn, Mackenzie, and Kendra; brother, Bill (Pearl) Katzko, and sisters, Bonnie (Butch) Grossman and Sandra Baldwin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice (McKee) Zang, whom he married March 5, 1977, and who passed away on June 30, 2018.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Thompson- Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001.
Full Military Honors will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Greenlawn Burial Estates Chapel, conducted by Butler County Honor Guard.
