Cranberry Township will officially unveil new turf on a soccer field later this week.
Township supervisors approved contracts in March to install infield turf on a soccer turf project in North Boundary Park at a total cost of $1.2 million.
On Thursday at 5 p.m. a ribbon cutting will be held by township officials along with players and officials of the Seneca Valley Soccer Association.
The Association will reimburse the township for the cost of the project.
