Michael Thomas Savage, 33, of Butler passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026. He was born in Ellwood City, PA on December 9, 1992, to Kenneth and Amy (Double) Savage. Michael graduated from Moniteau High School in 2011 and furthered his education at New Castle School of Trades in 2020.
Michael worked at United Plate Glass (UPG), OBERG Industries and most recently at Coherent Corp. He loved to cook, especially smoking meat and grilling. Michael enjoyed tattoos, gardening, target practicing, working out, going to concerts and comedy shows and was involved in NA/AA groups.
Michael was known for being always happy and having a smile on his face, that could light up a room; he gave the best hugs and was a connoisseur of life.
Michael is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Amy; his grandparents, Thomas and Kathleen Double, David and Adriene Kniess; sister, Emily Savage; Michael is also survived by his beloved dog, Odin.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry C. Savage.
