Justin Henry Austin

Justin Henry Austin, 25, of Butler, passed away at his residence on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
Born June 13, 2001, in Jacksonville, Fla., he was the beloved son of Robert Michael “Bobby” Austin and Heather Nichole McCrorey Herring.
Justin was a mechanic who loved to work on cars in his spare time. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, and shooting. He loved to go to the beach and surf.
He is survived by his son, Declan Austin, of Butler; his daughter, Saige Austin, of Butler; his mother, Heather Herring and her husband, Seth, of East Brady; his father, Bobby Austin and his wife, Stephanie, of Jacksonville, Fla.; four siblings, Brandon, of Tampa, Fla., David and Deagan, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and Olivia, of East Brady; his fiancée, Alexis Bortmas, of Butler; his maternal grandfather, James Coester, of Grove City; his paternal grandfather, Robert Austin, of Jacksonville, Fla.; his paternal step-grandfather, Ben Higginbotham, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bess Coester; his paternal grandmother, Ellen Higginbotham; one uncle, David Coester; and one aunt, Lisa Austin.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home South Side, 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Friday, Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Fred Neal, of Redemption Church, Lower Burrell, Pa., officiating.
Entombment will be in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.
