Harry Ray Hankey, 86, of Renfrew, PA passed away on September 29, 2026 at his home.
He was born on December 14, 1939, in Rimersburg, PA, to Walter Bruce Hankey and Pauline C. (Womeldorf) Hankey.
Harry graduated from Union High School and attended Clarion University. He was employed by AK Steel for many years. A Christian by faith, Harry was a member of Christ Community Methodist Church. He enjoyed football, gardening, and was a true foodie who appreciated a good meal.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Etta (Gray) Hankey; daughter, Susan Relihan; grandchildren, Nicholle (Jess) Schoonover, Danielle (Tyler) Weleski, Zane (Charity) Hankey, John D. (Lauren) Relihan, and Jaycee Relihan; great-grandchildren, Barrett, Lily, Mavis, and Reyna; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott Hankey; brothers, Ronald Hankey and Craig Hankey, and sister, Bette Clouse.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home., 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001.
Harry will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
