As students get ready to return to class soon, AAA is urging drivers to be careful on the road.
AAA’s annual School’s Open—Drive Carefully campaign launched this week. It encourages parents to talk with students and teen drivers about the importance of school zone safety.
They also urge all drivers to be extra careful during the hours directly after school. A new study found 64 percent of child pedestrian deaths happened during the weekday.
They encourage all drivers to ditch distractions and stay alert while driving.
