The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office is reminding residents to be on the lookout for scammers.
It’s National Consumer Protection Week and Dave Sunday’s office says the state is actively trying to stop scams while protecting consumer rights.
Consumer protection tips will be shared on the AG’s social media platforms throughout the week. Officials say that a variety of settlements with companies secured by the Attorney General’s Office this year have saved residents millions while also protecting them from robocalls and other kinds of exploitation.
Those who believe they have been a victim of a scam can file a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection online, by email, or by phone.
