A film crew will be in Butler next week filming for a TV series.
Crews from the Apple TV show Parallax will film on Thursday (10/30) at the old People’s Gas building which they will use as a police station.
City Council has entered into an agreement that will allow crews to use the North Street Lot as well as a section of the Main Street lot closest to First English Lutheran Church beginning at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday through the end of day on Thursday.
Some preparation of the facility could begin Monday and some trailers could also be parked in the large parking lot at Pullman Square. No pyrotechnics are necessary and the show could return sometime in the future if there are additional scenes with the facility.
This show stars Liev Schreiber and is based on the Killer Instinct series of books by Lars Kepler.
