Austin Dillon makes up for last year’s Richmond win/makes playoff field

Austin Dillon added his name to the Nascar Cup Series playoff qualifiers list when he took the victory Saturday night at Richmond. Dillon repeated a win at the track from the previous August, but last year, Nascar disqualified Dillon from the playoffs because he intentionally wrecked the first and second place drivers to take the checkered flag. The drivers head to Daytona this weekend for another Saturday night race. Two spots remain open for the 16-driver playoff field.
