Local students were honored for participating in a competition known as the Stock Market Game.
The game is organized by Butler County Community College and allows elementary and high school students to make hypothetical buy-and-sell decisions in the stock market.
More than 80 schools and 4,400 students participated in the game this year.
They were honored at a ceremony at BC3 earlier this month.
