Bonnie Cheryl (Parker) Morris, age 66 of Prospect, peacefully passed away on hospice care Tuesday afternoon, September 30, 2025, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 12,1959 in Pittsburgh; she was the daughter of the late Howard and Rebecca Merriman Parker.
She was a member of the Meridian Presbyterian Church, and former member of the Mt Chestnut Presbyterian Church where she was a past Deacon and enjoyed volunteering with the Church’s food cupboard.
Bonnie was a full-time volunteer with the Butler County Special Olympics where she enjoyed working with the bowling and bocce teams.
Her hobbies were bingo, Special Olympics, and going up to camp at Lake Erie.
She is survived by her husband Neil A. Morris, whom she married July 7, 1976; her children Carrie (Elvis) Morris-Major of Butler and Neil G. Morris of Prospect; two grandsons Kyle Major and Aaron Major; sister Brenda Merriman of Ft Myers FL; and her brother James Merriman of Beaver Falls.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son Neil A. Morris, and an infant daughter.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 3,2025 from 4pm to 7pm at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
Funeral will be on Saturday, October 4,2025, at the Meridian Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., Meridian. The family will receive friends from 10am until time of service at 11am, with Rev. Dr. Stephen Franklin, her church pastor officiating.
Interment will be at Old Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Callery.
