A Bruin man has been charged after police accused him of being three times over the legal limit with a child in his vehicle in Chicora.
On April 25, state police pulled over 22-year-old Preston McFall for a suspected DUI. There was also a woman in the car and a four-year-old.
When officers were speaking with McFall, he allegedly showed signs of impairment.
Officers also say McFall smelled like alcohol. A field sobriety test was conducted and McFall allegedly admitted to drinking and driving. A blood test found that McFall had a blood alcohol level of .272 percent.
McFall has been charged with endangering the welfare of children and several DUI offenses.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 16.
