A popular restaurant will be seeking the possibility of a zoning modification at a meeting later this week.
Chick-fil-A will present before the Butler Township Zoning Hearing Board on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building.
Representatives of the restaurant are appealing for a special exception for canopies in what could be the first step toward a local franchise.
The property being discussed is located at 660 Butler Crossing and is currently owned by Northwest Bank.
