Butler City Council has approved the purchase of new seats at Historic Pullman Park.
Council accepted a bid from Eichenlaub Company in the amount of nearly $125,000 to replace 427 seats at the ballpark.
The money comes from the interest from the City’s Legacy Funds and the seats are expected to be in place early next spring.
This project is taking place in cooperation with facility managers at the Butler Area School District who chose the type of seat to be purchased.
Work previously approved to repair the roof of that facility is still ongoing.
