A Butler couple pled guilty and was sentenced last week for an alleged break in at a Butler City home last year.
In May 2025, police were called to a home on the 500 block of West Brady Street for women fighting in a yard.
According to charging documents, 27-year-old Janautica Revis of Lyndora, was coming to take items out of the house. Her fiancé 36-year-old Karl Warren Jr. of Butler is also accused breaking down the door to enter the home. Revis claimed to be the caretaker of the man, who died, that lived at the home.
Warren pled guilty to simple assault, theft by unlawful taking, and a summary offense. Revis pled guilty to theft by unlawful taking.
Warren was sentenced to 24 months of probation and Revis 12 months of probation.
Between the couple, they will also have to pay $3,718 in fines, fees, restitution, and cost of prosecution.
