Cranberry Township is urging drivers to slow down as the school year kicks off.
The township is once again conducting their Slow Down Campaign to coincide with the start of the school year.
Starting Thursday, drivers will notice hundreds of campaign and radar speed signs across the township. There will also be an increased police presence, particularly near schools, parks, and residential areas.
Officers will be monitoring speeds and other traffic laws.
The campaign runs through September 6th.
