Crews were called to battle a garage fire in Washington Township yesterday evening.
The fire broke out around 5:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Branchton Road.
When crews got on scene they found heavy smoke and soon elevated it to a two-alarm fire.
The garage was on the ground, but the fire was threatening a nearby home.
Crews had the fire under control by 6 p.m., although they needed extra tankers due to difficulty in finding available water sources.
