The FBI has issued a flight restriction for Pittsburgh’s Independence Day celebration.
All unmanned aerial systems flying in the area of The Point and North Shore will be tracked by federal, state, and local police.
The restriction goes into effect at 4 pm and will last until 11 pm.
Pilots who do not adhere to the restrictions may be intercepted, detained, and intervened by law enforcement and actions may be taken against the pilot.
Actions could be civil penalties, revocation of any pilot licensure, criminal charges, or seizure of the drone.
