Francis “Frank” Edgar Fair

Francis “Frank” Edgar Fair, age 68, of Butler, passed away Thursday, September 24,2026 in Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Born June 8,1958 in Butler; he was the son of Irene Mudrick Fair of Butler, and the late Arthur Fair.
He was a 1976 graduate of Butler High School, and graduated from technical school where he learned to build fireplaces. He retired as a masonry.
Known by many for hosting big get togethers, including pig roasts, making apple butter, and making sauerkraut. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and canoe regattas.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children Travis (Autumn) Fair of New Castle and Nicole (Patrick) Kirkwood of Boardman, OH; and three grandchildren Addison Earley, Elsie Kirkwood, and Oliver Fair.
He was preceded by his father and his doggie “Baby”.
Per Frank’s wishes, after cremation there will be a Celebration of Life get together.
