A bill signed into law by Governor Josh Shapiro will see new enforcement officers wearing body cameras.
The bipartisan bill allows deputy fish and boat commission officers, game commission officers, and DCNR rangers and state park officials wear body cameras.
The law did not receive a single no vote in the house or senate and was signed into law earlier this week.
Attorney General Dave Sunday praised the bipartisan law saying “body cameras provide the officer with an indisputable account of what happened during an interaction.”
