A local family is thanking the community for support following a fundraiser earlier this summer.
A Golf Outing fundraiser in support of Lejen Warner was able to collect $27,000 to help with medical and physical therapy care.
A statement released by the family reads in part “Your support not only helped make the recent golf outing a success, but also gave Lejen and our family strength, hope, and encouragement”.
Warner was paralyzed as a result of a swimming pool accident in May.
