Gordon Hartman, 82, of Butler passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born in Butler on March 4, 1943, to the late Edwin and Sophie (Nowakowski) Hartman. Gordon received his associates degree and was a self-employed concrete and drywall contractor.
He was a baseball coach and a member of Falcon Club of America and Moose Lodge of Butler. He will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
Gordon was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Hodgkiss) Hartman, since their marriage on August 8. 1964; father of Lonni DePolo, Gordon “Butch” (Dawn) and Russ “Rusty” (Rhonda) Hartman; brother of Ron (Karen) and Dale (Sandra) Hartman; grandfather of Michael “Mikee”, Emma, Stefani and John Hartman, Danielle and Christian DePolo; great grandfather of Cason Hartman.
