A man was held at gun point by police after they were called to an Adams Township home for a domestic incident.
Police were called to the 100 block of Davidson Road for 26-year-old Jason Starr of Mars who was “smashing things” in a home. The caller told police the suspect also had weapons such as throwing stars and a samurai sword.
When police arrived on scene they held Starr at gun point, but once they identified Starr did not have a weapon in his possession he was taken into custody.
Starr allegedly began damaging the home following a disagreement with the victim. The victim is involved in a separate case involving Starr where he was charged with terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.
For this incident Starr has been charged with simple assault and false imprisonment and is being held in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bond as he awaits an August 27 preliminary hearing.
