An East Butler man is out tens of thousands of dollars after falling victim to an impersonation scam.
State police say their investigation began in the spring of this year.
An unknown suspect was portraying themselves as professional wrestler Rhea Ripley to a 64-year-old man.
The victim then sent over $42,000 to the scammer via online payments.
State police noted the victim did not cooperate with the investigation.
