One person on an electrical bicycle was flown to a hospital Friday night after an accident involving another vehicle in Butler Township.
Just after 10 p.m. Friday, police were called to North Main Street Extension near the GetGo gas station.
According to Butler Township Police, an e-bike driven by 33-year-old Antonio Cavaliero of East Butler was stopped in the southbound lane attempting to take a left turn.
He was then hit from behind by 84-year-old Charles Giltenboth of Butler causing Cavaliero to be launched off his bike hitting the car’s windshield before rolling across the top of the car and hitting the ground.
Cavaliero sustained a head and leg injury and was flown to Allegheny General Hospital.
