Butler City Mayor Bob Dandoy is traveling this week as part of an energy and telecommunications gathering of federal and state officials from across the country, along with utility industry leaders.
Dandoy has been invited to speak on a panel at the 2026 National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Summer Policy Summit in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He will share his insights into the City’s recent sale of the Butler Area Sewer Authority, and how the sale has impacted the City as part of the Financial Research Institute breakfast event at the conference.
All costs associated with Dandoy’s participation in the Summit will be reimbursed by organizers of the Summit.
