More information is being released about a school van crash that sent one student to the hospital.
The crash happened yesterday morning around 7:15 a.m. on Thorn Creek Road in Jefferson Township.
Police say a deer ran out in front of a school van driven by 60-year-old Carol Ferlan of Sarver. Police say Ferlan was only going 20 miles per hour at the time of the accident.
There were five other people in the van, including a 16-year-old girl who suffered a head injury.
She was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
