A Clinton Township business had to evacuate Monday afternoon as a result of a fire.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 2:30 for an equipment fire at Coherent, formerly II-VI Inc on Saxonburg Boulevard.
Crews from Saxonburg, Buffalo Township, Sarver, and Saxonburg EMS were able to get the fire under control and begin ventilation in about 10 minutes.
The cause of the fire and extent of damage are not known at this time.
