A new doctor will join local medical facilities as part of WVU Medicine.
Dr. Tsimafei Marchuk is the newest member of Butler Memorial Hospital general surgery team. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing a general surgery residency at Jefferson Einstein Medical Center.
During his residency, Marchuk served as a resident clinical educator, helping develop and implement a robotic surgery curriculum, leading simulation-based training sessions, and providing structured skills assessment and feedback to fellow residents. Before becoming a physician, Marchuk earned a nursing degree from Temple University.
Marchuk will see patients at the WVU Medicine East Campus on Oneida Valley Road.
