A new law will allow organizations to receive payments other than cash during fundraisers.
The bill would modernize the small games of chance law to allow organizations to accept electronic payments like credit and debit cards or platforms like Venmo. This would be allowed for fundraisers like buying raffle tickets.
Organizations would still have to verify those participating are over 18.
