Tax Day is quickly approaching, but there’s now one less one option for procrastinators.
Organizers of the Volunteer Tax Income Assistance program say they are booked with appointments and have no more availability.
The VITA program is a free tax filing resources for those under a certain income requirement.
The Department of Revenue is extending its call center customer service line in case people need help ahead of Tax Day. The center will now be open until 7 p.m. on weekdays. You can call it at 717-787-8201.
