A number of waterline replacement projects are now underway in both Butler City and Butler Township.
Pennsylvania American Water began the projects earlier this week, that will replace nearly 1.3 miles of aging water lines.
Crews will be working during weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on eight different roads in the City and Township.
The project costs an estimated $2.1 million and will wrap up next spring.

- West Pearl St. (from Bredin to North Washington)
- Delta Way (from Fairview to Brown)
- Glenn Avenue (from Center to Brown)
Butler Township
- McCandless Avenue (from Boyd to 107 McCandless)
- Steelton Avenue (from Mellon to Weir)
- Semanco Avenue (from Kohler to 118 Semanco Ave.)
- Sawmill Run Road (from England to South Eberhart)
