Patricia C. Cousins

Patricia C. Cousins, 98, of Herman, passed away in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Born April 3, 1928, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late George Snyder and Clare Mangel Snyder.
Patricia was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, and she taught for many years at St. Mary School.
She is survived by three children, Father John Cousins, OFM, Cap,, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Pam Tait, of Butler, and Jodi Snyder and her husband, Phil, of Butler; two grandsons; two step-grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul J. “Jack” Cousins, who passed away July 13, 2018; four brothers; and three sisters.
Friends will be received at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Rd., Butler, on Thursday, June 11, from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church, with Patricia’s son, Rev. John Cousins, OFM Cap., officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
