The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Calgary Flames 4-1 last night. Evgeni Malkin and Tommy Novak each had a goal and an assist last night. Goaltender Stuart Skinner stopped 18 of 19 shots in net for the Pens.
Last night’s victory was their second in a row and moved the Penguins into second place in the Metropolitan Division.
The Pens played last night’s game without defensemen Kris Letang and Erik Karlsson due to injuries.
The Penguins are right back in action tonight in Edmonton. Face-off is 9pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 8:30pm.
