PennDOT is continuing the Franklin Road Corridor Safety Improvement Project next week.
Night paving of utility relocation trenches on Franklin Road will begin Sunday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and continue through the week weather permitting.
Then, beginning June 17th and continuing through July 6th, Mars Road will be closed between Jessica Drive and Franklin Road to allow for full reconstruction with new drainage and pavement.
Motorists will be able to detour from Mars Road at the Franklin Road intersection, turn right onto Franklin Road, turn right onto Route 228, turn right on Cranberry Springs Drive and right back on to Mars Road.
