Police are reminding drivers to obey the rules when it comes to the partial shutdown of the Zelienople Bridge.
The southbound lane of Route 19 that goes across the Zelienople Bridge is shut down for the next couple of months as crews work on bridge renovations.
Police are saying that drivers need to use the Little Creek Road detour to I-79 and Route 68. There is a mobile/temporary traffic signal in place, but the light will not change as the southbound lane is closed.
Jackson Township Police say they will be monitoring the area regularly and anyone trying to illegally cross the bridge will be “subject to enforcement action.”
