Motorists in Butler and Summit Townships should be aware of the next phase of a construction project on a busy road.
According to PennDOT, a lane restriction has been extended on Route 68/East Jefferson Street as part of the Karns Crossing Bridge Project.
The single lane traffic restriction with flaggers stretches from Eau Claire Street to Route 38/Oneida Valley Road will continue weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through November.
Additionally, the Delwood Road closure has been extended until November of next year (2026). Motorists can use a detour that includes Route 8 North and East Brady Street.
The entire $65 million project will continue until spring of 2028.
