Ruth Dillabaugh, 82, of Butler passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026. She was born in Carroll, IA on August 29, 1943, to the late Daniel and Edith (Gray) Schatz.
Ruth was a Pastor’s wife at Calvary Baptist Church of Butler for 20 years; she was a member there for 44 years. Ruth was also a Sunday School teacher at Calvary for over 40 years.
She loved her husband, family and her church family. Ruth loved and served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Ruth was the beloved wife of Wayne Dillabaugh, and recently shared their 64th anniversary on May 26, 2026; mother of Jane (Kevin) Wall, Cara (Joel) Ward, Jodie (Terry) Osborne and Charity (Heath) McAfoose; sister of Mary Jane Weyandt, Daniel Schatz II, Elizabeth Howard and Paul Schatz; grandmother of 19; great grandmother of 35.
Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, John Schatz.
