Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefit payments for November are in the process of being issued.
According to the PA Department of Human Services, full SNAP benefits should be paid to all recipients by the end of this week.
SNAP recipients can check their EBT card balance with the ConnectEBT app or website. SNAP recipients are also advised to use the app or website to keep their card locked when not in use to prevent theft.
The disruption in payments came as a result of the historic federal government shutdown with local farmers and stores also affected.
