The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to a one-year contract extension with defensive lineman Cam Heyward. The agreement bumps the value of Heyward’s two-year contract to more than $32 million, with just over $16 million guaranteed. The 37-year old Heyward was scheduled to become a free agent after this season, but the deal keeps him under contract through the 2027 season, while freeing up $5.5 million in cap space for the Steelers this season.
The Steelers are also bringing back 34-year old punter Cameron Johnson on a one-year deal.
